By the time this post is read, the numbers may be different. But for now this story is about a video that went from 200 to over 72,000 over night.
Im sure that this article is only going to be one of many that pounce on this, but i thought i would put out there what i believe is the true hear of it.
A mother and father who cared enough to let their son do something simple and then asked for help to make it a magical moment. Short version.
Kid makes fuzzy unedited short video on how to make a lego something or other. Mom and dad let him post it on youtube all by himself. He watches and waits to see if anyone watches. And I will tell you getting the first 200 is what astounds me. But the story is about the 72,000. the mom or dad, i cant remember, goes to http://www.reddit.com and asks the readers to go watch it. And then while your there, the video tag asks you to comment. And so a ton of people started to say that it was a great job, and he needs to do more… all warm and fuzzy stuff. Of course there were the bad comments, and the parents pointed out that they used it a s learning lesson, which I thought was GREAT.
And people try to figure out how they cna get things to go viral. How can they make a big splash. Its just simple. Do what you love. Hope others watch and approve. If they do, they will ask others to watch and approve. thats really it in a nutshell.
Great job mom and dad. Way to go.
